The Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Merrill and Hart celebrating its new Chamber membership. Attending the ribbon cutting from left to right were Rachel Brown, Andrea Hudy, Charles Hart, Rhonda Merrill, Stephen Merrill, Brunna Merrill, Deanna Brubaker, Tohanna Magdaleno, Teri Fuller, Nathaniel Merrill, Marcia Rifenberg, Krystal Light, J. Merrill, Sandy Patterson, Juliana Doyle, and Shane Delaney. Merrill and Hart is a processing company specializing in student loan consolidation, public service loan forgiveness, teacher loan forgiveness, and loan disability discharge. Press Release - Mayor Proclaims February 7-8 Winterfest Weekend

Mayor Mark Nexsen has proclaimed Saturday and Sunday Feb. 7-8, as Winterfest Weekend.

Now entering its 30th year, the signature event of the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce brings together a wide range of artists, artisans, local businesses and unique vendors from across the United States and provides them the opportunity to showcase and sell their products and services.
This year the  popular street festival will feature wine sampling from Cupcake Vineyards, a food court, beer garden with live entertainment, kid’s zone and products ranging from exotic jewelry to art, clothing and more.

Sponsors for the event include Unisource Energy Services, Romer Beverage, The Red Onion, Living Magazine, Frontier Communications, Mohave State Bank, Suddenlink, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Today’s News Herald, Horizon Community Bank, London Bridge Resort, Havasu Pest Control, Anderson Automotive Group, Wells Fargo, and National Bank of Arizona.

Event hours are 10am-5pm on Saturday, February 7, and 10am-4pm on Sunday, February 8. There is no charge to attend.
