LVCC was established in 1980 by founding Pastors Dale and Marianne Ray. The church mission is “Ministering healing and reconciliation”. “It has been a privilege to serve alongside pastors and churches of Lake Havasu City with Godly spiritual guidance through the bible exalting Jesus Christ as Lord” says Pastor Ray. The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Havasu Area Public Art celebrating the unveiling of the Classic Car Mural on the Eastern wall of 2079 McCulloch Blvd. The purpose of Havasu Area Public Art (HAPA) is to stimulate public art in Lake Havasu City. HAPA is a 501(c)3 organization (non-profit) that welcomes ideas about public art. HAPA plans both maintenance and upkeep of its installed public art. The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Lake Havasu Unified School District #1, celebrating its first School Bond Project.  Technology infrastructure upgrades to Lake Havasu High School and new lab equipment. Citizens for Havasu Schools is still active and committed to community engagement as we move forward with the projects we outlined in the bond. The override made a difference in teacher retention this year. LHUSD had a turnover of 8%, compared to 20% the previous year. Bond projects will be taking place throughout the year and throughout all schools.
